How do I use Events.com?

Events.com supports the creation of successful events, by providing a unique experience to event planners and event goers. Whether you are planning to sell tickets, empower attendees, promote events, engage sponsors or discover events, we have got you covered.

Depending on your goals we recommend starting with:
  • Events.com | Sell: If you want to sell tickets, manage registrations and build high converting ticketing pages that support merchandise, insurance and much more, you are in the right place.
  • Events.com | Promote: if you are looking for places to list your event without using our ticketing solutions.
Learn more: Welcome to Events.com

What are the main steps to sell tickets?

Follow this getting started guide to learn how to go live with an event and get the most value out of your experience: Create tickets or registrations

How do I get paid?

Create or connect your Stripe account to get paid for your event. All of your event revenue is processed and deposited into your account immediately and payouts to your bank account occur every 1-3 business days. Learn more: Connect Stripe

How can I get more visibility for my event?

Do you want to tell the world about your event? Events.com offers a variety of solutions to expand your reach and grow attendance. Promote your events through local calendar listings and build strong multichannel campaigns with our automated marketing tools. Ads are created on top channels to a targeted audience. Can I list a free event?

Yes! When you create your ticket or registrations, set the price to $0 to make it a free event. If you wish to hide the $0.00 pricing from the order page, click the gear icon (⚙) and toggle Hide Pricing if $0.00 to YES in the Availability section. Then save your changes. What is the difference between tickets and registrations?

If your event requires you to gather detailed information on each attendee, you’ll want to offer registrations. Some examples of registered events are: running events, races, and conferences. If your event experience does not depend on you having detailed information for each attendee, you might want to offer tickets. Some examples for ticketed events are: festivals, concerts, art fairs. You’ll be asked to decide while you’re creating an event, but you can also change your choice from the Registration/Ticket page. This is really up to you, and how you decide to present your options to your attendees. Learn more: Create tickets or registrations

Why Events.com and not another ticketing company?

Events.com knows events. Any solution is built to provide a unique experience to event planners and event goers. Here you will find a robust ticketing and registration platform designed to promote multiple ticket types with inventory management and price changes. In just a few clicks you can custom email confirmations, conditional form questions with e-sign capabilities, allow split payments and activate a variety of other solutions designed to generate engagement and increase attendees. An all-in-one platform where you can create, run and grow your event business.

How do I create a virtual event?

Creating a virtual event on Events.com is very similar to creating an in person event.
In the Details section, select Virtual as your location type. If you have a virtual and physical event taking place you can select Both. This gives you the option to show your address or keep it hidden.

Note: Due to new Marketplace Facilitator regulations, the address needs to be collected for tax purposes even in the case of Virtual but it does not have to be shown on your event page. Learn more: Create a digital event page

What reporting are you offering?

Our Data management is all encompassing. You can have simple statistics directly when you log into your event, or run reports from financials all the way to customer reports on who answered a certain way to a particular question.
